Research and Policy Studies

Scientific research is often needed to form the basis for policy and practical decisions on how best to address a particular ecological issue or nature conservation requirement.  Our scientifically-trained ecologists are amongst the best available in ecological science and have been put to good use in delivering many challenging research projects. We provide clients independent, multi-disciplinary science teams in order to address your research requirements professionally and with considerable skill.

Data Analysis

The analysis of data sets for clients is undertaken in order to provide intelligent, interpretable and useful signals and trends from a body of quality-assured data. We use modern-day information technology and statistics in order to effectively manage, analyse and report environmental data. The work includes the use of state of the art databases and GIS in developing applications for clients.

Project Management

Just Ecology works as in-house or remote project managers, applying a bespoke range of project management techniques. Our involvement has been from the very inception of projects, including scoping and procurement, all the way through to management via steering groups, and external peer review of end products. In this way we can ease the burden of project management from our clients, giving you the comfort of knowing that your projects are in safe hands.

Research and Policy Studies

The undertaking of scientific research projects, including desk research, field survey and experimentation, is one of the core areas of work for Just Ecology. Related services include the provision of scientific advice, peer review, dissemination support and the undertaking of policy studies often involving desk study, consultations and recommendations for new or amended policy.
